About OSCE Patient
An AI simulated patient for OSCE practice, built for medical students.
What is OSCE Patient?
OSCE Patient is an AI simulated patient. You practise history taking by typing your questions or by speaking to the patient out loud, and the patient answers only what you ask. When you finish, you give your differential diagnoses and get feedback on your history.
Can I practise an OSCE history by voice?
Yes. With a free account you can take the chest pain history out loud: you speak your questions and the patient answers in a recorded voice, like a real OSCE station. More voice cases are on the way, and every case can be typed.
Who is it for?
Medical students preparing for OSCEs. The cases are written for Year 1 and Year 2 students, but anyone who wants OSCE practice in history taking can use them.
What do I get feedback on?
What you elicited and what you missed, the key information for the differentials in that case, and how you asked your questions: open questions first, then closed questions for the detail.
Which OSCE cases can I practise?
Common presenting complaints such as chest pain, shortness of breath, cough, headache, back pain, constipation and diarrhoea. The chest pain case is free to try without an account.
